A very fun and funky pair of vintage Mexican earrings from the 1950s! These stylish earrings have a substantial design and are crafted in sterling silver and onyx. Both carry an abstract form that is hand-carved from onyx, and adorn a curved sterling shape on top which is riveted into the onyx plaque. On the back of each earring is a hinged clip, and several markings, which include: "MEXICO," "STERLING," and the maker's mark "M.S.R." The deep black color of the onyx and the sleek silver setting make a striking combination, creating a bold accessory that is perfect for the fashion-forward woman!
Measurements: The earrings measure approximate 1" tall, 3/4" wide and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or onyx plaques. The clips are secure and in good working condition.
